For as long as I can remember, I've always enjoyed playing tabletop games ranging from traditional family games to miniature games, designer board games, and tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs). It has been interesting to see how this type of traditional gaming has recently gone through a major shift towards digitalization. New technological advancements, such as easily accessible AI and digital design tools, have truly transformed how we think about and experience tabletop gaming.
The transformation has been most notable with TTRPGs, which are notoriously demanding to prepare for and to play. It is no wonder that many innovative solutions have been created for this genre to help the games run smoother and be more enjoyable. In recent years the demand for digital content has skyrocketed, and so-called virtual tabletop programs have become a popular medium.
But despite their merits, there are several major pain points that the current virtual tabletop solutions are mostly not addressing, particularly content creation and game immersion. Alasin Interactive was founded based on our belief that we can change this.
We want to give you the best tools for creating and experiencing interesting, complex and immersive roleplaying stories with your friends. We want to leverage the best aspects of computer gaming without losing the soul of tabletop gaming. And most importantly, we want to create products that you will find not only highly useful but also enjoyable to use.
